Enyimba FC goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has been invited to join the camp of Ghana Black Stars’ to replace injured Adam Kwarasey who has withdrawn from the team due to injury.

Dauda who had a poor season with the two- time African Champions after ending the NPFL season 10th on the log, will come in with so much experience between the sticks for Avram Grant’s side.

Dauda was a member of the team which trained at the St. Tomas Aquinas Park last week but was put on standby after signs that Norway based Adam Kwarasey could be available for the tournament.

The Enyimba FC shot stopper has now been favoured as Kwarasey will require three more weeks to recover fully thus his exclusion from the team.

This will be Dauda’s fourth AFCON competition having played in 2008,2013,2015 and now 2017.
