The NPFL leaders tasted defeat for the first time this season on Sunday at the Next of Champions in Uyo, when they were beaten 2-1 by the Promise Keepers, a defeat that signalled the end of the club’s 7 games unbeaten run.

The former Abia warriors coach said his side are already looking ahead to their next game.

“It wasn’t our fault that our unbeaten run ended; we wanted to remain unbeaten till week 10 but since it has happened, like it always does in football, we will pick our pieces and keep our heads high so that we

can win our next home game come this weekend”, said Boboye.
