Nigeria’s highest ruling body, the Supreme court has dismissed Proprietor of Jos based football club, Giwa FC, Chris Giwa’s application for accelerated hearing of his case against the Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick.

AOIFootball.com gathered authoritatively that the proprietor of defunct Giwa FC had through his representatives in court sought for accelerated hearing on the matter originally slated for the 9th of May but the court threw away the motion.

The court further fined Chris Giwa’s camp the sum 100,000 naira for bringing a frivolous application before it.

This means the earlier date of 9th May 2017 stands.

World football governing body FIFA recently extended a worldwide effect to an initial 5 year-ban placed on Chris Giwa and four others by the Nigeria Football Federation.
