Former Super Eagles midfielder, Friday Ekpo, has warned the Super Eagles of Nigeria not to get too over-confident because they are currently leading group B of the World Cup qualifiers with 6 points.

The former mercurial midfielder also reckoned that the players must keep their head down and play the remaining group games with full concentration and not celebrate that we have clinched the ticked when we are yet to do that.
The 47yearold retired no 10 also stressed that everything is possible and Algeria that are rock bottom can even come and usurp the topspot currently being occupied by the Super Eagles if they win two games and Nigeria loses two.
“We are going to play two games at home and two away; anything can still happen, as Zambia can beat Nigeria in Uyo, the same way we beat them in Ndola, because everything is possible in football.

“We have to take all the advantage and chances that come our way, so that we willl be ble to stabilise our place in the World Cup.
“Algeria will be playing and praying for Nigeria’sscalp so that they will relaunch themselves. Nowthat their game is going through a little crisis and transformation, we must capitalise on this and get the World Cup ticket before they know it”, said Ekpo.
