Rivers United defender, Wassa Gabriel has said that his side’s 1-0 win over defending champions, Enugu Rangers in Porth Harcourt at the weekend was massive.
The former Niger Tornadoes’ left-back noted that Rivers United envisaged a strong match from the defending champions, and they prepared well for them and won.
He stressed that the players are now thinking of playing and winning their two outstanding games, so that they can move up the log.
“It was a massive win, and a very good match for us, we knew they will come out very strong and we prepared strongly.
The game was a very good game and we are happy; I thank God we won.”
“We can now plot how to play our two outstanding games and win, so that we can move up the log,” he concluded.
