Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu has submitted that the upcoming friendly games between the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the Teranga Lions of Senegal and the Stallions of Burkina Faso, which comes up on the 23 and 27 March both in London, will be very important for the team.
The 49-year-old former MVV Maastrich of Holland shot-stopper believes that both games will be very good for the Super Eagles as they will help put the team in the right shape for their 2019 AFCON qualifiers, noting further that the London friendlies will also help the team to be better prepared for the onerous tasks before them.
“The games will be very important for us, because of the quality of the teams we want to play. Both games will help keep our players in shape ahead of the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers, and is also going to help prepare the team for the various onerous tasks ahead.”
“So, the friendly games will be very good for the country, the coach and the players,” Agu said.
