Speaking exclusively to aoifootball.com as the team departs for Egypt, Imama was clear on their mission in Egypt.

“We are going to Egypt with one thing in mind, and that’s to win. We know the pedigree of the side we are facing and we will not take chances. My team is psychologically prepared for battle,” Imama boasted.

The Rivers-born coach further revealed that they are well aware of the strengths of the Arabians and will ensure they match them in every department.

“We have studied the tapes of Zamalek’s league and continental matches. My boys have the instruction that should guide them when the game kicks off, so we are good to go,” Imama concluded.

The Nigerian champions left the shores of the country at 12.45pm via an Ethiopian Airlines flight on there way to Addis Ababa, before boarding another flight to connect Cairo.
