Reports coming in from Ghana indicate that 95 coaches of both foreign and local have applied for the vacant Black Stars coaching job.

AOIFootball.com gathered that 91 of those that applied for the plum job are foreigners and 4 from the local scene.

The Black Stars top job became vacant after former Chelsea boss, Avram Grant parted ways with the Ghana FA following the side’s poor outing at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

A six-member committee was appointed by the Ghana FA to search for a new coach for the West African side.

The committee opened applications on February 27 to 10th March 21, 2017.

Top English coaches like Harry Redknapp and Garry Neville, as well as former Italy shot- stopper Walter Zenga and Brazilian star Roberto Carlos, are among those shortlisted for the job.
