Newly invited players to the Super eagles have been initiated formally into the team by the old players. This took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel London, where the team is camped ahead of friendly matches against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
The players of the team, in their tradition of welcoming players who have just been called up to the national team for the first time with some form of activities, did this with a frenzy.
The first timers that were welcomed to the team are Tyronne Ebuehi of ADO Den Haag, who performed his task with Azonto dance steps.
Noah Joel Bazee of Hannover 96 in Germany also followed with subtle dance moves of his.
Watford star, Isaac Success, who had represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-20 level decided to sing Davido’s hit single ‘If’.
The last to be initiated was the man who got a late call-up to the team, Kayode Olanrewaju of Austria Wien. Kayode had represented Nigeria at junior level as well, with the U17 and U-20 team in 2009 and 2011.
He however did not disappoint as he gave the team some sleeky dance moves to the delight of all.
With the united atmosphere in camp, it’s an indication that the future of Super Eagles looks bright as youngsters are getting opportunities in the team.
