Super Eagles’ striker Odion Jude Ighalo was again on the losing side as his club Changchun Yatai lost their third game of the season as they remain bottom of the Chinese Super League table after three games.

Yatai, who were playing at their home ground, the Changchun Stadium, have not recorded a single point this season and that clearly reflected as they bowed to the supremacy of Shandong Luneng in the match day three encounter.

Luneng took the lead when Senegal striker Papiss Cisse, who got a brace, struck in the 59th minute and then his second in the 82nd minute which was a brilliant finish from close range.

Ighalo captained the side and was on from start to finish but could not help salvage any point for his team.

Changchun Yatai are placed 16th in the 16 team league with zero point from three matches in the 2017 Chinese Super league season.
