Abia Warriors hot-shot, Sunday Adetunji has said that he will not allow the praises and encomiums coming from all corners get into his head at this point in time.

Adetunji told AOIfootball.com that he has bigger targets that he has set out to achieve and at such will not allow his performance in the league to get into his head.

The in-form striker stressed that paramount on his mind now is how to improve his game daily, and measure up to national team standard.

“As a professional footballer praises and the encomiums shouldn’t affect your game or attitude in any way if you want to go far in your career.”

“Since I am aiming to play in the Super Eagles, I believe my performance in the league shouldn’t get into my head.”

“What I am thinking about now is how I can improve my game daily, so that I can be in the national team in a few months’ time. That need’s to motivate me more and not to make me feel relaxed.”

“With God and the support from the coaches, my teammates and the management, there’s no looking back,” concluded Adetunji.
