Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) FC Head Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has said that his side’s 3-0 whipping of El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri was not a perfect response to their 4-0 scandalous loss in Lafia the previous week, but that they were able to tear apart the Maiduguri Warriors in Lagos because they got back their rhythm.

Speaking exclusively with AOIfootball.com, Ilechukwu noted that prior to the game, he knew they would win but didn’t know the goal margin will be this much.

According to him, the team is not yet perfect but is getting better than the side that were beaten blue-black in Lafia.

“Our 3-0 win over El-Kanemi is not a perfect response to our 4-0 loss in Lafia; we just tried to do what we know how to do best.”

“We didn’t know we were going to beat them 3-0 but we knew we would win.”

“My boys got back their rhythm against Elkanemi, considering what happened in Nasarawa last week, we closed all the loopholes before we played El-Kanemi.”

“My team is not perfect yet, but we are getting better every day and I am happy about that,” enthused Ilechukwu.
