Super Eagles’ striker, Odion Ighalo finally broke his goal’s drought in the Chinese Super League as he scored twice for Changchun Yatai in their 2-3 loss to ninth place Shanghai Shenhua inside the Development Area Stadium.

Ighalo’s first came five minutes before the break and it was an equaliser as Yatai had gone down to a Fredy Guarin 18th minute opener that silenced the home fans.

The Nigerian scored his second five minutes after restart, thanks to an assist from Marinho. Shenhua however leveled just two minutes later as man of the match Guarin created and assisted Cao Yunding to score.

Out of favor Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins made his presence felt in the game as he created an assist for Moreno to score the decider for Shanghai Shenhua and earning them all three points.

Yatai remains bottom of the CSL log with one point after five games.
