Reports in the media had suggested the Franco-German tactician plans to make new invitations ahead of the encounter but the former FC Barcelona defender believes it is not the way to go.

“If it is true the coach wants to invite new players again ahead of the South Africa game, I think it’s not the way to go as it may be counter-productive. The only new invitation that I think he should make should be around departments in his team that he is not confident about,” Okunnowo told only AOIFootball.com.

“I am not in any way teaching the coach his job but I’m advising him to keep his main team and continue to build on their cohesion and bonding,” he said.
