Super Eagles’ winger, Victor Moses, who has had a fantastic season with soon to be crowned English Premier League champions, Chelsea, will be allowed to rest for some days before joining the rest of his teammates in Uyo for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations clash against South Africa.

 

This much was revealed by the team’s Media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye.

 

“Victor Moses has been allowed to rest for some days before joining the team in Uyo. He has had a very hectic season as he has played over 90 percent of the team’s games this season under Italian Coach, Conte,” Ibitoye said.

Speaking further, Ibitoye pointed out that, Coach Gernot Rohr sees the former Liverpool FC player as very key to the team’s cause and campaigns in the AFCON qualifiers and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

 

“Victor is seen by Coach Rohr as a very important member of the team; just like everyone in the team, he is concerned about his wellbeing after a very tasking season he has featured in for Chelsea,” Ibitoye added.

 

The Super Eagles Media Officer also hinted to AOIFootball.com that Eagles’ players plying their trades in China, led by Captain Mikel John Obi, are also going to be invited for the South African game.
