AOIFootball.com can report that newly unveiled coach of the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, Stuart Baxter is plotting to upset the Super Eagles of Nigeria when both sides clash in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on the10th of June in Uyo.
 
Baxter, who was unveiled on Monday, has been handed a 5-yeal deal as South Africa’s coach and his first big test will be against the high flying Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The 63-year-old says he hopes for a very competitive squad when they face the Eagles.

“I’m really looking forward to this latest challenge. If I wasn’t ready, I would not have accepted the challenge.

“I believe the nation has enough players to succeed and I believe in my abilities,” enthused Baxter.
This will be Baxter’s second stint at the helm of the Bafana – having managed them back in 2004.
His journey was nonetheless cut shot in 2005 after failing to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Nigeria holds a superior record against South Africa with seven wins, four draws and a loss.
