According to him, his side trained very well and planned for the victory prior to the Oriental derbyon Sunday.
The former Niger Tornadoes handler, who spoke exclusively with Aoifootball.com, said the game against Rangers was a good one for his players as they enjoyed themselves, stressing that his players were motivated by the fact that they have not defeated Rangers in Umuahia before.
“We trained very well and we planned for the victory we got against Rangers.
“Sincerely speaking, we never expected to win with such a wide margin. I know that if you take your chances in the game of football, you won’t know when you will get there.
“The game was a good one for my boys, because they really worked hard for it. Prior to the game, we knew they will be coming with the mind of revenge because we defeated them in the first round and we were extra motivated because of the fact that we knew that we had not beaten them before in Umuahia before,” said a delighted Biffo.
