Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi, has extolled Super Eagles’ Coach, Gernot Rohr, saying that the ‘Rohr Effect’ has returned the ‘super’ status of Nigeria on African continent, reports AOIFootball.com.
The Leicester City star has recently enjoyed more playing time under the Franco-German tactician and has admitted the team’s success is due to the quality of coaching Rohr has brought to the team.
“He is a good coach and is wonderful, even outside football; he is very disciplined. He has helped our bonding and team solidarity. He says what it is and we just have to abide by the rules and his guidance,” Ndidi told thenff.com.
On this weekend’s game against South Africa, who have not lost a game in 17 matches, the 20-year-old assured that the Eagles will soar past the Bafana Bafana.
“Nigerians should just relax and enjoy the Eagles play, and we will certainly play to win against South Africa. Every game we play we try to play to win,” enthused Ndidi.
The former KRC Genk midfielder also confirmed he would be with Leicester City next season, despite transfer rumours across England linking him to big clubs like Manchester United, amongst others.
