Plateau United Coach Kennedy Boboye has said that winning the league is possible but his team must remain focused until the last day.
According to the Port Harcourt-born coach, who spoke to aoifootball.com, he is not being carried away by their latest victories but their focus is set on grabbing a continental ticket.
“I’m not being carried away by our latest results in the league but my ultimate goal is to give the people of Plateau State a continental ticket at the end of the season.
“I keep telling my boys it’s not over until it is finally over.
“My last two jobs with Sunshine and Abia Warriors have taught me to remain resolute until the final day.
“The position we are today in the league is not just my effort but a collective effort of the management, the players and the coaching crew.
“We have a difficult game next week against Nasarawa United, a team with good character and great administrators. We are seriously preparing ahead of this game because we can’t afford to drop points at home” Boboye said.
Concerning any opportunity to coach the national team, Boboye added:
“Why not? Every coach will love to coach his national team and I am not an exception. If the opportunity beacons I’ll grab it with both hands,”aid the former Abia Warriors’ gaffer.
