According to reports today in UK tabloids, Tottenham Hotspur could be about to take Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho to White Hart Lane in a bid to speed up defender Kyle Walker’s transfer to Manchester City, AOIFootball.com can report.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola wants to sign England right-back Walker, but the two clubs have hit a stalemate as Spurs are thought to be holding out for £50m.

Leicester is thought to have agreed in principle with Manchester City to sign the forward latest this weekend even as the Craig Shakespeare tutored side is sweating it out in Austria, however, the latest interest from Spurs could prolong the signing of the 20 year old.

Iheanacho’s prolific record shows he could be a good purchase, with the Nigerian international scoring 21 times in just 64 games for City, with many of those coming from the bench.
