Nigerian-born English striker, Dominic Solanke found the back of the net in his first game for Liverpool on Wednesday against Crystal Palace.
Solanke fired home just after the hour mark after converting a beautiful strike from outside the box.
It was a fascinating way to announce his presence to the Liverpool fans.
Liverpool went on to win the encounter 2-0 after Origi added to the tally.
Solanke turned his back at Chelsea after signing for the Jurgen Klopp-tutored side where he is expected to get more playing time.
He scored four goals in the just concluded FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament and was awarded the Golden Ball as the Best Player of the Tournament.
Solanke expressed his delight via his official Instagram account. He wrote: “Good win today, happy to get my first goal.”
