Sivasspor of Turkey left wing-back, Elderson Echiejile, has said he is eager to kick his first competitive ball for his club, AOIFootball.com can report.

The 29-year-old Nigerian joined newly promoted Sivasspor this summer on a season-long loan from French Ligue 1 champions, AS Monaco and featured for the first time in the club’s 4-0 friendly win against Sumqayit last Sunday.

“You know it’s a different kettle of fish here in Turkey. I can’t deny the experience I have, it’s really god for me to learn the way football is played here. I’m happy to explore new heights here in Turkey and hope the club will do well,” Echiejile told AOIFootball.com.

Meanwhile, the former Sporting Braga of Portugal player expressed his delight via his instagram page following his first goal for his new club in a friendly match at the weekend.

The Turkish Super Lig kicks off on the 12th of August.
