MFM FC of Lagos Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has said that he will congratulate Plateau United Coach Kennedy Boboye as the winner of the NPFL title, if his team fails to pick any point from their next game against Abia Warriors on Sunday.

According to him, Plateau United must not glory yet as the Prayer Warriors can still wrestle the title to Lagos at the end of the season.

Fidelis told Aoifootball.com exclusively that the battle for the ultimate prize of the NPFL is not over, and that he has told Kennedy Boboye not to celebrate until on Monday.

“We can win the league; it’s very possible. Even fourth placed Enyimba can still win the league. I don’t think it is over yet. I can only say it is over if we don’t pick any point in Umuahia on Sunday.

“I will personally call Boboye and congratulate him if we fail to get anything on Sunday against Abia Warriors. But for now, I have told him not to celebrate yet,” said Ilechukwu.
