AOIFootball.com can report that Super Eagles and Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi has returned to training.
The Gunners’ man returned to training Friday ahead of this weekend’s fixture against Eddie Howe’s AFC Bournemouth.
He posted on his Instagram page “Back in action #Big17”, confirming his return.
The Super Eagles’ attacker picked up an injury a fortnight ago and missed the Gunners 4 – 0 thrashing by Liverpool and then missed the Super Eagles double header World Cup qualifier against Cameroon in Uyo and Yaoundé, respectively.
Iwobi’s return is a boost for Manager Arsene Wenger who is under fire for refusing to strengthen his squad despite the sale of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool.
It is also good news to the Super Eagles ahead of next month’s clash against Zambia in Uyo.
