Former Remo Stars coach, Nduka Ugbade has said that he is saddened that the club have been relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The former Nigeria international said he had visions and plans for the club when he led them to promotion last season, but that everything didn’t materialise following his premature exit.
Ugbade, who spoke exclusively with AOIFootball.com, said he is sad the club was relegated after just one season in the topflight.
“The situation of Remo Stars is one that I would not like to comment on now. When I took the club from the NNL to the NPFL, I had a vision which did not materialise at the end of the day because I was forced to leave.
“The current position of the club is very bad; I am not personally happy that they got relegated.”
