Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, scored his first goal of the season in Trabzonspor’s 3-1 victory against Genclerbirligi in the Turkish Super League on Sunday, AOIFootball.com reports.
Genclerbirligi had gone a goal ahead early in the 6th minute before Olcay Sahan equalised in the 53rd minute.
Hugo Rodallega then put Trabzonspor on the lead on 84 minutes, before Onazi, who was brought on from the bench in the 88th minute, scored the last goal at the stroke of full time.
Onazi, whose wife Sandra gave birth to their first child in August, took to Twitter after the game to dedicate the goal to his daughter.
“Thank God for the 3 points; was also great to give my baby #makayla a wonderful gift amore. When grace speaks…,” he tweeted.
It was Onazi’s second appearance in the League this season and Trabzonspor are fourth in the Turkish Super Lig table with seven points from four games.
