Even though Mikel Agu’s parent club are Portuguese giants FC Porto and he has had loan spells in other clubs in the past, the hard-tackling defensive midfielder has said that he is enjoying his football in Turkey.
“I am enjoying my time and football in Turkey. There seems to be something different. I have always craved for a tough competition and enough playing time and I think I am having it here,” he told AOIFootball.com.
The midfielder also hopes his form for club will help him feature more for the national team.
Agu was signed by Turkish outfit, Bursaspor FC on a season-long loan from FC Porto and he began life at the Turkish side more positively, enjoying playing time weekly, a situation he has described as great.
The former Vitoria Setubal player has 4 caps to his name with the Super Eagles.
