Super Eagles’ midfielder and CD Feirense playmaker, Oghenekaro Etebo was on the score sheet for the second consecutive week as Feirense fell 2–1 away to Portimonense on Monday night.
Etebo, who started on the left side of an attacking midfield trio alongside Tiago Silva and Edson Farias, pulled a goal back for his club in the 28th minute when he lashed on to a cut back from Farias to beat the goalkeeper down to his right.
The goal was however not enough for Feirense as they suffered their second consecutive loss, after going down last week at home to Sporting CP, with Etebo also on the score sheet.
The 21- year- old Nigerian had a pass accuracy of 90.9%, successfully completed all 6 of his dribbles, won 10 of his 14 duels, was fouled 3 times and was also dispossessed three times on the night.
Feirense will now switch attention to next weekend’s game against Belenenses where they hope to return to winning ways.
The club is 7th in the Portuguese Primeira Liga with 8 points after 6 games.
