Former Al Merriekh of Sudan striker, Dayo Ojo has ended his contract with Akure club, Sunshine Stars for the second time in less than a year.
Ojo, who rejoined the Akure Gunners in the mid transfer of the just concluded season, told Aoifootball.com in an exclusively interview that he is quitting the AITEO Cup semifinalist for better offers.
“My contract with Sunshine Stars is over. I joined them for just a short stint and now that the season is over, I will take my time to assess other offers.
“I won’t renew my contract with them. I came here to help them out of a very difficult situation and that was achieved and we almost got to the Cup final, so am happy to be leaving in a very good condition,” Ojo explained.
Ojo, who was part of the NPFL all stars for a friendly in Spain, said he has several offers from both home and abroad and will study the best offers before taking a final decision.
“I have offers from several clubs. I was contacted by some clubs in Sudan and also I have offers from some Nigerian clubs and I will make my decision known very soon,” Ojo concluded.
