Super Eagles’ Manager, Gernot Rohr has been advised not to dump players whom he used during the qualifiers in the name of getting better players as it has been the manner of previous managers of the team in the past.

Former Super Eagles’ midfielder, Garba Lawal, made this assertion in a chat with AOIFootball.com where he pointed out that the Franco-German must avoid mistakes perpetuated in the past, whilst advising that the team must kept together.

“Gernot Rohr must keep his team together as a unit. He cannot afford to make mistakes of the past where players who have been part of the entire qualification process are dumped and new once who are said to be better but were not part of the qualifiers are chosen,” the former Roda JC of Holland player explained.

Lawal was at the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cup tournaments for Nigeria.
