Coach of NPFL side, MFM FC, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has said his players are just 30% ready for the new season and are not yet in top gear and that it was unfortunate his team didn’t qualify for the semifinals of the preseason tournament they played in.

Ilechukwu told AOIFootball.com that the chemistry of his team is good, and the players are working very hard, but they need to play in another preseason tournament to get into shape.

“The preseason has been good, and we are working very hard, but it was quite unfortunate that we didn’t enter the semifinals of the last preseason tournament; we crashed out at the group stage.

“My players are just 30% now, but we are back home now, getting ready and planning for another preseason tournament which I believe that by the time we finish it, my players will be in good shape,” Ilechukwu said.
