Plateau United Coach, Kennedy Boboye has reacted to the CAF Champions
League preliminary round draw that paired his team against Eding Sports FC of Cameroon for the 2018 edition.
The 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League winning coach said they will have to get “everything right” to achieve their target of reaching the competition’s group stage.
“We have to get everything right- off the field and on the it to progress, which I believe my players will want,” Boboye, disclosed to AOIFootball.com.
He however admitted he has no idea about their opponents and he only wants to focus on his team.
The two teams will lock horns in a two-legged fixture with Plateau United hosting the first leg between 9th and 11th February 2018 before traveling to Cameroon for the second leg.
Aggregate winner between the two clubs will face Etoile du Sahel in the first round for a spot in the group stage.
Boboye has in the past made it known that he will be targeting the lucrative phase of the tournament.
