The draw for the maiden edition of Women’s WAFU Cup of Nations will hold in Abidjan the capital of Cote d’Ivoire on January 9, 2018, reports.

The competition is scheduled to hold from February 8 to 24 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

Eight countries are to be drawn into two groups of four labelled A and B.

Countries that will be drawn include host Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Ghana, Niger, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Togo and Benin Republic.

The Super Falcons, who will execute the competition, are expected to begin camping in early January and will use the competition to prepare for the African Women’s Championship (AWCON) qualifiers billed to start in May 2018.
