Super Eagles’ and Arsenal FC of England star, Alex Iwobi has urged all lovers and fans of the Gunners to stick with the club despite their disappointing 1-0 loss to rivals Tottenham in a London derby played over the weekend, AOIFootbal.com reports.

Iwobi, who came off the bench for the final 25 minutes of the encounter for Egyptian Mohammed Eleny, was unable to produce the master performance that saw the Gunners dispatch Everton 5-1 the previous weekend.

The Nigerian then took to social media to express his disappointment, while urging supporters to stick behind them as they begin their second round endeavour in the Europa League.

“Been an Arsenal fan myself, yesterday’s defeat was very disappointing and hard to take. I know its hard to believe but we know exactly how you are feeling.

“We have another match in a few days and trust me, we’ll be putting 100% to try and make it right. Massive love to all our fans for your support. #BIG17,” Iwobi said.

Arsenal next travels to the Jantkraft Arena in Sweden where they will take on Östersunds FK in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 clash.
