Kano Pillars moved to the summit of the Nigeria Professional Football League table, after outscoring NPFL debutants Go-Round FC 2-0 at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Sunday, AOIFootball.com reports.

El-Kanemi Warriors and Niger Tornadoes played out a 0-0 draw in Maiduguri.
In Lafia, Nasarawa United stunned Wikki Tourists 1-0 courtesy of Mohammed Suleiman’s 48th-minute strike, while Abia Warriors tamed struggling Kwara United 1-0 in Omoku. Austin Obaroakpo scored the winning goal in the 52nd minute.
Sunshine Stars and Enugu Rangers played out a 1-1 draw.
Ifeanyi George opened the scoring at the 28th minute, while Nojeem Raji drew level for the host 30 minutes later.
Rivers United and FC Ifeanyi Ubah ended their game at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in a 1-1 draw.
Onyekachi Chidume opened scoring via the spot kick for the Anambra Warriors, while Ochefu Salefu drew level for the home team five minutes from time.
