Sunshine Stars sacked the coach, Duke Udi has fired back at his former employers, calling them incompetent and full of lies, AOIFootball.com reports.
An agitated Udi disclosed that he was not aware of his sack, insisting he is still with the team.
“If it is so, that’s is no problem. I have a one – year contract with the team, let the club pay me my outstanding salaries and bonuses, including a ₦750,000 balance for keeping the team in the top flight last season.
“The Sports Commissioner of the state also reduced my salary to ₦200,000 just because I didn’t sign players he forced on me.
“They only paid me one-year contract. The club must pay me my balance of ₦750,000 for retaining the team in the Premier League as well as my January and February salaries and my seven-match bonuses, or we meet at Court of Arbitration for Sports(CAS),” the former Osun united gaffer stated.
Udi also slammed the club’s hierarchy for instigating stadium raucous and their lack of support in the pre-season.
“They did not give a dime to buy players and there was no preseason training, but I was able to do things in the Premier League. I couldn’t even use my new players because of litigation problems,” he lamented.
