Super Eagles’ hopeful, Simy Nwankwo has said that he’s well fired up for this weekend’s relegation battle against Chievo Verona, insisting his side will go out for all three points.
The 25-year- old attacker, who has scored in all of his last three games, told exclusively ahead of the clash that he and his teammates are fully focused on the game as they all know what victory will mean for them.
“The last three or four weeks have been amazing for me and the team; we have a very crucial game on Sunday and I hope we can at least get a point and I also hope to continue my scoring streak, ” Simy said.
The attacker further posited that he’s not bothered with reports linking him with a move away from the Serie A strugglers and that it’s an indication that his efforts are been appreciated.
“It’s normal for the reports to come in. It shows how much I’m growing and how better I’m becoming as a player.
“But honestly, that’s the last thing on my mind now, I’m solely focused on our season target and nothing else. I just want to see us stay up that is the target, ” Simy concluded.
