Head Coach of Nasarawa United, Kabiru Dogo, has said his team is well focused on their matchday 20 clash against El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri in Lafia, despite losing the reverse fixture last week in Maiduguri.
The former Kano Pillars gaffer, who gave a chance to some of his fringe players when his team took on the National U-20 team, the Flying Eagles, told AOIFootball.com afterwards that he was happy with the display of his boys whilst advising the Flying Eagles’ Coach to work more on the defense and attack of the squad.
“Our game against El-Kanemi won’t be an easy one. I have full regards for Coach Imama and what he has achieved with El-Kanemi Warriors. But we are seriously preparing for the match against them and I believe come Sunday we will get the maximum three points.
“It was a good match and good preparation for both teams. I believe the Flying Eagles have a good team, but they just need to pay more attention to their defence and attack. But overall, they are a very good side,” Kabiru Dogo concluded.
Nasarawa United are currently 14th on the log with 22 points after 19 games, the same number of points with their visitors who have played a game less.
