Anthony Nwakaeme

Super Eagles’ striker, Anthony Nwakaeme scored his tenth league goal for Hapoel Be’er Sheva as they came from behind to thrash second placed Beitar Jerusalem 4-1, thus edging closer to their 5th league title, AOIFootball.com reports.

Nwakaeme, who only returned to full fitness a fortnight ago, started alongside John Ogu but it was the home team who drew first blood via Hen Ezra after just 22 minutes of play.

However, Be’er Sheva turned the game around in 16 crazy second-half minutes as goals from Hatem Abd Elhamed (48’), Hanan Maman (52’) and Ben Sahar (64’) put them 3-1.

Nwakaeme then put the icing on the cake with a well-taken finish, fifteen minutes from time to wrap up all three points for Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
