El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri Had Coach, Imama Amapakabo, has said he and his team will take a lot of positives from their 2-0 loss to Nasarawa United over the weekend, insisting they lost on technical, rather than tactical reasons.

The 2016 NPFL-winning coach, who spoke to after the 2-0 loss at the Lafia Township Stadium, further stated that his team will continue to work hard to achieve their season’s objective.

“Well, we actually came here for a positive result but unfortunately we lost the game. I believe we lost on technical and not tactical reasons; the first goal we conceded was very avoidable and the second was rather unfortunate for us. So, we just have to move on and continue to try to win our matches irrespective of where we play.

“El-Kanemi are a team in progress because we are rebuilding it. I just came in this season and we are trying to see how we can continue to develop as a team and begin to get the right results,” Imama concluded.

El-Kanemi Warriors are currently 17th on the NPFL log with 22 points from 19 games. They won the reverse fixture against Nasarawa United 2-0 last week.
