Former Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba has signed for Israeli Second Division side, Hapoel Iksal on a one-year deal after leaving Hapoel Ashkelon at the end of last season, AOIFootball.com reports.

The former Enyimba of Aba shot-stopper was an ever-present figure for Ashkelon last season, manning the post in all 31 league matches as he was unable to stop them from going down to the second division.

Aiyenugba could make his debut for Iksal this weekend when they travel to Hapoel Akko in the league opener.

The 34-year-old started his career at Enyimba in 2001, winning two CAF Champions League titles; he then joined Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv in 2007, spending 9 years before moving to Ashkelon in 2016.
