Super Eagles’ and Enyimba of Aba goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa believes Nigeria must take all three points from their 2019 AFCON qualifier against Seychelles if they are to stand any chance of qualifying for the main tourney in Cameroon next year, AOIFootball.com reports.

The Chan Eagles’ skipper, who was speaking after Enyimba’s 1-0 victory over CARA Brazzaville, said afterwards that he was confident in the team’s ability to pick the much-needed points when they clash on September 8.

“It’s very important for us to claim the maximum points because it’s a must-win game to keep us in contention in the group. Anything other than a victory will jeopardize our chances of qualification to the Nations Cup.

“I believe we will qualify from the group because we have the right players to do so,” Ezenwa added.

Ezenwa further hailed the level of competition for places in Enyimba’s goal, whilst praising Afelokia on his impressive display in helping the club qualify for the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederations Cup.
