*Admits Seychelles were very aggressive

Super Eagles’ Head Coach Gernot Rohr has said that he is pleased with his team’s 3-0 victory against Seychelles on Saturday and that his boys adapted well to the aggressive nature of their hosts despite playing on a bumpy pitch, AOIFootball.com reports.

The Franco-German, however, insisted his side must now win their double header against Libya, whilst adding that he substituted Kelechi Iheanacho on technical grounds.

“It was not an easy game for us because they were very aggressive and gave us a lot of problems but we are happy with the win today. We must now focus on our game against Libya at home and away so we can stand a good chance of qualifying.

“For Iheanacho, we had to remove him because he already had a yellow card and we did not want to risk him getting another one but I was happy with his overall display,” Rohr concluded.
