Ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against Liberia, Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru has admitted it would be an honour for him to meet former Liberia President and former FIFA World Player of Year, George Weah, AOIFootball.com reports.

The Galatasaray player, who promised to give his best if selected for the encounter, told AOIFootball.com exclusively that he will carefully wait for his time in the national team.

“There is really nothing much to say about the game. For me, I will always give my best in both qualifiers and friendlies, so I will just wait for my time.

“I didn’t really watch him in his playing days because I wasn’t born then but we all heard the great stories of his playing time so it will be a very good thing to finally meet him in person,” Onyekuru said.
