Super Eagles’ forward, Samuel Kalu capped up a very impressive few days for himself scoring his first goal for French club Bordeaux as they played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at home to Olympique Nimes, AOIFootball.com reports.
In what was a crazy first-half display, Jimmy Briand opened scoring for Bordeaux after 20 minutes before Nimes turned the tie around netting twice via the boots of Batiste Guillaume (31) and Antonin Bobichon (45) to hand them a 2-1 lead going into the break.
However, Bordeaux went ahead with two quickfire goals in the second half first with Jimmy Briand in the 56th minute before Kalu skipped pass two marker’s to rifle into the net with his left foot one minute later to put his side 3-2 up.
Nimes then equalized with 13 minutes left when Umut Bozok raced clear to slot past the goalkeeper with the game ending 3-3.
Kalu who was on for the entire match duration had a game rating of 6.9, completing 84% of his passes, winning 9 duels, while he saw 4 of his goalbound efforts blocked by opposing defenders.
