Super Eagles’ left-back, Chima Akas has expressed his delight after being voted the man of the match in Kalmar FF’s goalless draw against Dalkurd and leading his side to yet another clean sheet, AOIFootball.com reports.

The 24-year-old was starting his 21st consecutive league game, earning a rating of 7.6, completing 85% of his passes and making 1 clearance.

“Thank God for the man of the match award, still a work in progress. Thank God for the injury-free game; not the result we wanted,” Akas posted afterwards.

The draw leaves Kalmar FF 10th on the log with 28 points from 21 games.
