Super Eagles’ and Al-Nassr winge, Ahmed Musa has been named the best player in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for matchday three following his blistering performance against Al-Qadisiyan, where he netted a hat-trick, AOIFootball.com reports.
The former CSKA Moscow player was impressive in the tie, scoring his first league goal for the club as he helped Al-Nassr maintain their 100% record to the start of the season.
Musa was presented with the award on Monday night after his side’s 1-0 win against Altawoun, where he featured for the entire match duration.
“Thank you to all the people who voted for me. It is always an honour to have your respect and support,” Musa posted afterwards.
The Nigerian currently sits 3rd on the scorers’ chart with 3 goals, one behind the duo of Bafetimbi Gomis and Cristian Guanca who both have 4 goals each.
