Ahead of Saturday’s AFCON 2019 match day three clash against Libya, the Super Eagles camp is set to bubble this afternoon when core of the players invited for the clash arrive in Uyo ahead of Tuesday evening’s first training session.
AOIFootball.com can confirm authoritatively that Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Leon Balogun and Germany-based Jamilu Collins all flew into Abuja late Monday night and have proceeded to Uyo ahead of the evening training session.
Defender Kenneth Omeruo, midfielder John Ogu and forward Henry Onyekuru have all also arrived Lagos and will proceed to the team’s base in Uyo from the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos.
Also expected in camp before Tuesday evening’s training session are the duo of Ahmed Musa and Abdullahi Shehu who have also arrived the country ahead of the must-win clash.
However, Udinese centre-back William Troost-Ekong, returnee Isaac Success, Semi Ajayi and goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi were the early birds in camp as at the time of filing this report.
The Super Eagles will hold their first training session on Tuesday evening with most of the players expected to arrive for the session.
