Despite his side’s emphatic 4-0 victory over Libya on Saturday evening at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Super Eagles Head Coach Gernot Rohr insists his side are not perfect yet and will work on all lapses to ensure they complete the result in Tunis on Tuesday, AOIFootball.com reports.
Goals from Odion Ighalo (hat-trick) and a debut goal from Samuel Kalu lifted the Eagles to second in Group E, with Rohr admitting afterwards that his lads need more cohesion ahead of the second leg.
“This result does not mean we had a perfect game today (Saturday). We had problems defensively especially in the 1st half and before we play Libya again in 3 days, we must improve on our weak areas,” Rohr stated.
Nigeria currently occupies the second spot in Group E with six points, with South Africa at the summit with seven points following their resounding 6-0 victory over Seychelles.
