Super Eagles’ returnee, Mikel Agu has expressed his delight after been recalled for Nigeria’s upcoming fixtures against South Africa and Uganda, promising to give his best if given the opportunity to lace his boots for the team, AOIFootball.com reports.

An excited Agu, who spoke to AOIFootball.com shortly after the news of his recall broke out, further admitted that he has missed the national team and hopes to regain his position in the team.

“I’m very happy to be called back again to the team. I miss the national team a lot and will give my best if given the chance to play in the matches against South Africa  and Uganda,” an excited Agu posited.

With four senior caps to his name, the Vitoria Setubal midfielder will be hoping for his fifth cap when the Nigeria takes on South Africa in Johannesburg on the 17th of November.
